Soul Rhythms Revisited will welcome back children from Edison School, as well as fraternity steppers from Central State University, old-timey band The Corndrinkers, dancer Beth Wright and Mexican folkloric dancers Orgullo Mexicano to reprise their unique dances from the Culture Builds Community spring project, Soul Rhythms. The theme was migration, looking at all the amazing ways we as people have found our way to Dayton Ohio at this point in time. Creating work together forms a community into art! These talented local artists will take the Main Stage on Sunday at 3 pm.
Excerpts from the culminating performance of the Soul Rhythms residency this spring can be seen on the Culture Builds Community YouTube page.
