Celtic Series Kicks Off With Irish Music and Dance

Dancers from the Richens/Timm Academy of Irish Dance
This year's Celtic Series kicks off with a bang on October 22 with Irish greats bohola and dancers from the Richens/Timm Academy of Irish Dance. The Chicago Tribune states that, “bohola plays 300-year-old jigs and reels as if they were trying to tear the house down.” Add talented young dancers from one of the country's premier Irish Dance schools, and you have an unmatchable evening of entertainment.

This concert will also be the first one we're presenting in the new Centennial Hall at Stivers School for the Arts. This beautiful space boasts comfortable seats, a clear sightline from everywhere in the hall, art-filled common spaces and easy accessibility. Photos of the theatre can be found here. Free, well-lit parking is available right in front of the building.

We look forward to seeing you there!
